Must be a outdoor cat. By taking a cat poo out to where you want her to do it.
Or maybe your question imply that, that is not your cat?
In that case, Dilute some detol and put in the garden everyday for a while. Maybe you have plants , you can use mosquito spray.
My friend did that in her garden. And it worked. So try it. Hope it works for you ..
Good luck.

One way to keep cats off of areas that you don't want them in is to spray vingar mixed with water on the surface of the couch, chair table or even the floor.
Also, if a stray cat is causing you or your pets problems, keep a spray bottle of watered down vingar handy and when the strays come around spray them. It will not hurt them, but when they clean their fur they don't like the taste. It has worked for me a couple of times. As far as keeping them out of the garden, a friend told me that if you springle Cayenne Pepper around the garden it will keep they out. I have not tried this as I do not have a garden. But, I know the vinagar works as one of my own cats decided to use the Pantry for a dirt box. I cleaned it up, laid a bath towel on the floor and sprayed it with Vingar Water several times a day and he stopped.
