I think the best present would be something that is the complete opposite of all the stress and business of planning a wedding. My suggestion would be a gift certificate for a weekend stay at a nice bed and breakfast. If your budget allows, then spring for an extended weekend!

Well, this depends on how much money you can afford to spend. A weekend away would be nice, or buy them a lovely frame with a wedding picture of either the 2 of them, or the 3 of you...or a family group picture.

I suggest you get some extremely nice statinarey, and hand write (you can use the computer to comose it, but it needs to be writen by your hand) a well thought out and flawless letter to thank them from both of you. Since the Wedding was a bonding of two souls, have your hubby help you compose this letter so that the parents can see his influence in your writing, It is important that you both sign the letter.

have you considered a very personalised present
if you make a photo album of yourself from a baby to now as an adult that would be a big 'thank you' to your parents for your life and getting as far as getting married
money is good but things from the heart are better
good luck with the wedding and all the best for your future

Buy a large photo frame. Put photos of you when you were a baby, when you were around 10, 16, and photos of special occasions and simply say that you are proud of the way that they have raised you up to a fine young women....
or
Tickets for a cruise, holiday etc.

BUY......why not just MAKE them something or DO something for them rather than BUY. Cook them a surprise candlelight dinner, make them a Thank-You card, give them a Pic from the wedding, offer to give them a Day to go somewhere and you clean the house, fix them breakfast in bed one day.....THIS would be more appreciative than buying something.

Plus, no longer paying for her one, ought to harm the father.
