After many years with an old and trusted bread maker it failed and we had to replace it. The search was not easy in finding one with all the facilities of the old one, size, dough facility, fastbake programme, etc, etc. After looking at many makes and models we chose a mid priced Morphy Richards which fulfilled our requirements (from Argos). The new breadmaker has equalled the quality of the older more expensive one and gives excellent results. One problem did occur, the paddle spindle became detached from its mounting in the baking pan. A check on the manufacturers web site showed a host of spares available (inexpensively) and our replacement bread pan arrived within a couple of days. Bearing in mind that the bread maker is used almost daily it is giving excellent service and appears to have reliable back up. I would recommend this manufacturer and feel there is no need to pay extortionate prices for what is probably the same unit sold under the auspices of some celebrity name.

I've got a Morphy Richards' fast bake. It is very good. Use it every day. I buy my flour from Tesco, Carrs is the best. Also Hovis do a lovely flour brown with lots of bits. Haven't bought shop bread for about six months. M/R also has a delay timer, put stuff in at night and bread is made for the morning. 100/100

I have a great bread machine and use it quite a bit lately. It is a West Bend. I make cheddar cheese bread, Sun Dried Tomato and Parmesan Cheese bread and have tried cinnamon raisin bread. great for holidays.
