Otto the vampire bat came flapping in from the night-his face covered with fresh blood-and settled on the roof of the cave to get some sleep.
Soon, all the other bats smelt the blood and hassled Otto to tell them where he got it. He hissed at them to go away and leave him alone to get some rest, but they persisted getting more and more excited at the prospect of a very large feast.
O.k. follow me said Otto, as he set off and flew out into the night once more with hundreds of fellow bats close behind him.
Down into the valley they went, following a stream for some distance before entering and travelling deeper and deeper into a large forest.
Finally Otto slowed down and the other bats gathered around him with tounges hanging out expectantly.
"Do you see that very large tree over there?" he said.
"Yes, yes!" all the bats screamed as the all whipped themselves up in to one almighty frenzy.
"Good for you' said Otto 'COS I bloody well didn't"
