Isn't going to happen, queeny, Gerald is a guy. We don't read that sort of hint. Most of us can't read any sort of hint, come to that. Love him as he is, and you've got him for life. Don't try to change him, it will only destabilize the relationship.

I've been asked how do you get a guy to give you flowers and do sweet things once before. Well it's as simple as this if he was the right guy and truely cared for you he'd do sweet things and tell you sweet things to make you feel special. You don't need to ask, they just want to do these things because they care. But it's not so much the gifts it's how they treat you that tells you that you are the only one for them.
After dating a bunch of losers and meeting my husband I never once wondered, how can I get him to do nice things for me? He has been doing, and saying nice things since day one. And all throughout our relationship I never once thought for one second that he didn't care for me like I had in past relationships. This may not be the guy for you.

Are you talking about a guy...or a cocker spaniel? You can't train a guy the way you can train your puppy. Your man is either sweet, or he's not. And if you have a guy who isn't sweet enough for you, then perhaps you need to find a new one because obviously you aren't going to be happy with the guy you have now, unless you can turn him into a spineless sappy robot who fawns all over you and showers you with compliments...
If you feel you need all of that crap in order to feel secure in your relationship, then you NEED a cocker spaniel and therapy.

Sorry to inform you of this, but you can not "make" your guy be anything he does not want to be. You can NOT change anyone...they have to want to change and make the changes themselves.
You are in a losing battle if you are trying to change someone. Sorry

if u need to change him, then he isn't the guy for you. you should be accepting of what and who is. you shouldn't have to change him. how would u like to be changed?
