addicted to weed?
*i never thought it was a gateway drug, i never felt the need to do any other drugs*
stopping is a little bit trickier than what people may think, because you miss being high....
after you quit you need to set a goal, and that goal is to get all of the weed out of your system. Drink plenty of water and do lots of things that make you sweat, this will help a lot... and you need a stress reliever, something to do to vent your frustrations. And you need a reward system for yourself... do something nice for yourself for every week you go without it.
and when your friends fire one up, leave!
*every day it gets easier, and unlike any other addiction, you really do shed your want for weed!

Smoking anything can be addictive. However, ask yourself, "Am I so weak that I blame it on 'addiction'? or could it be a very entrenched habit "? Your age and the length of time you have spent with it does not need to be a factor. What should be is why you started in the first place. The pressure from this upside down world can leave anyone, the strong or weak, searching for a distraction. There is no right or wrong reason why you started. You seem to be earnest in your query, so take some time to think of not just the effect it has on you, but mostly the affect it has on those whom you cherish. It may be called the "gateway" drug, but that term is most often used by those who just don't take time to think of others. It is very depressing when you feel it is an unbeatable foe, but remember, that ' little ol' ant ' and that ' rubber tree plant '. Help can come from any direction if you really want it. Have you seen the Bill Murray movie " WHAT ABOUT BOB " ? Watch it! Although it is very comical, there is a lesson to be learned. It is refereed to in the movie as ' baby steps '. I know for a fact it helped me overcome alcohol abuse. I will not end with "GOOD LUCK", because 'luck ' has nothing to do with it. I will say, "I am very proud of your very first ' baby step '. You have asked for help. YOU CANNOT FAIL!!!

Hmmm...
First, you have to stop the problem from the source. You know you have an addiction/depression, which is step 1.
Next, you must figure out WHY you have this problem. Really dig deep and be honest with yourself as to whats wrong.
Also, tyr going outside or doing other activities to help close the gap of time in your day that you have available to smoke marijuana. Try other healthy activities.
Maybe get into a sport or go jogging, but the key is to ditch the marijuana down the sewer and get active.

You need to talk to someone about your addiction and seek help. It's good that you have accepted that you have a problem. That's the first step. Addiction is a hard thing to get through. I think you should go to your family Dr and confess your problem and tell them you are seeking help. They will have resources there for places you can get help and they can also give you something for your depression if they feel you need it. There is help out there. Your next step is to seek it. I know it will be hard but it's the right thing to do.

go out and buy a bike do something besides sitting around.be positive and positive things will happen.change your normal habits to things you thought of but haven,t done

its all in your mind girl......... i am a college student and i used to Drink all days full night to be precise but now i dont touch it. my friends they did the magic hope you have some well if you dont contact me.
