as it looks red. The cut isn't closing up. What should i do to let it heal and close the cut.

If it isn't bleeding it, it should be fine. Keep it clean and dry by using an betadine and some sterilized gauze; some antibacterial ointment (as suggested ealier) is good too. The cut should close eventually as it heals. Worst case scenario, it'll scar.

Crazy glue. it seriously works for cuts like that.
If you don't want to do that, then apply an antibiotic ointment (like Polysporin/Neosporin) and a band aid. Change the bandaid and apply ointment at least once per day until healed.
