It is all here for us to "use." It is only human prejudice and religious inhibition that interferes with that.

Obviously, there are plants and substances that are far, far more toxic than cannabis. By comparison, marijuana is a fairly tame plant.

Nicotene, the active substance in tobacco, is a deadly poison.

Wild parsnip will give you a rash nastier than any poison ivy.

Other plants far more toxic than marijuana, include:
lily of the valley, leaves of rhubarb, mistletoe berries, and common foxglove.

Anyone with an open mind would ponder the possibility that the Creator meant for us to use our own intelligence and decide which plants had medicinal or recreational use, and which were better left alone.

Yes but not to abuse, it has more than one use the one use you're talking about is abuse! It is forbidden because of the harm it does to your body and because it is mind altering therefore it changes you as a person messes with your brain it can even cause you to end up with schizophrenia. I studied about that not as a medical doctor but I did study about it at uni. As well as all that God requires us to obey not only his Laws but also the L:aws of your country or state Authorities So so because God put it there, that is not an excuse to use and abuse it! Nor is it edible or fruit!

You have the wrong perspective. Marijuana creates hallucinations. And god is a hallucination. Therefore you could rather ask "Did marijuana put god here for us to worship, or is that just like eating something bad?"

Yes and no. God is the creator of everything so yes he did create marijuana, however, it was man in his sinful state that took a pure herb and did perverse things to it. I think at one time it truly was a healing herb like people use it for glaucoma or other things, but no it's not here for us just to get "high" and act out of character.

God also put bears, lions, tigers, etc. on the earth. Does that mean we should all run out and be eaten by a tiger? Of course not. He also allowed for plagues, diseases and sickness. Should we all go out and get sick? Use some common sense, or did it go away with the last puff of smoke?

God did put it here, but God also told us to obey the laws of the land, which means that if our government says that it is illegal, it's illegal. If our government says it's not illegal, then it's not.

However, God also said to treat your body as a temple, and keep it clean & pure. So, just because alcohol, cigarettes, etc, are LEGAL, doesn't mean they are ok. They are not good for your body, and you should not put things that aren't good for you into your body.

I think on things like this is is a personal choice, that is led by conviction. Pray about it, is all I can tell you.

Despite popular belief, the likelyhood of God existing is very slim. He is an imaginary friend for adults. If he does, then yes he put weed in this world. Why? Probably not for people to smoke. god also put little boys on the planet, but probably not for priests to have sex with them. Get my point?

Sure! It was put here for us to use, but not to use the way it's being used! It has medical properties like a lot of other plants, but it wasn't meant to be used "recreationally".
