Hi everybody.
I explane you what I want to say: inside a factory, what's the name of that devices that activates "impartially" when detects outgoing cars?
If it sounds, you have to stop and let the janitor's lodge guys check your car.
Would u please tell me what il the name of this control device?

More details: a sensor detects your car, a siren sound and you have to stop your car and let the guys check your car.
We call it impartial because the detection sensor activates randomly.

In general should be "spot-checker" and in the specific for causal controls should be "Random checker" or "Random spot checker".
I'm also Italian, but I guess that's correct.
