When I travel by Bus or Train I always get the weirdo sitting next to me or in the same carriage. If I am enjoying a quiet pint and a cigar in my local, the weirdo always comes up to me and tries to start a conversation based around my Habanos Robusto... Why??????? Well I know one thing he has a name, it is SIMON R and he is right here on Answers. He's been a member for 1 week, has 103 points, does not allow e-mail or IM and has not asked nor answered a question. To top it all he has the audacity to add me to his contact list without my permission, making it look like we are buddies. WHY do I always get the bloody weirdoes???????????????????

LOL I shouldn't laugh really because i've been there as well! I couldn't go to a pub without having the local weirdo sit next to me and tell me his life story! It got to the stage where i stopped going to the pub! Anything was better than that where i was concerned.
Where this guy is concerned ... Just don't give your details and whenever he tries contacting you again ... Ignore him. If he's trying to contact you on 360 then click on ignore this person.

I shall observe with interest to see whether there is a question from Simon R to the effect of "Why oh God do I get vilified on answers for finding someone's input interesting and adding them as a contact?" - panic not, I have taken note that you are not a buddy of Simon R because jeez, it really bothers me that you might be that uncool.

Is it possible you're too polite? If you keep nodding, smiling and even giving brief answers to his conversation then you'll encourage him to keep it up. Tell him to get lost, he'll get the message.
Once again, being polite doesn't mean you can't stand up for yourself when someone else is truly rude or unwanted. Draw your lines.

Bad luck, you must be a really friendly chap. Perhaps you will have to let people see you have a bit of mean streak?nasty side - then perhaps they will leave you alone. Good luck!
