It is for a room size of about 12ft. It fits our budget well. but is the sound and picture quality as good? Thanks in advance!

I have that T.V. and it not the bad its pretty good and looks nice when in HD but like the guy before me said its not the best brand but its really good for its price

As a tech! are you kidding me. Then you should know samsung makes the best LCD's on the market and are rated number 1. You should know that sony buys their panels for there lcds from samsung! I wonder why?

No-Buy. Samsung quality is very poor.
Sony makes better overall picture and electronics that last.
As a tech, we know which ones are made good and which are junk.

Samsung is okay -- about average. Panasonic is probably the best for LCD, but plasma is best (Panasonic or Pioneer).
