Ensure that you use a shampoo/conditioner especially for greasy or oily hair. These are citrus based, often lemon 'flavoured'. If you use styling products (such as wax, gel, hairspray etc) on your hair, you should wash them out daily, to avoid a greasy build up.
You may find that after visiting the salon, your hair is in very good condition; this is because your stylist is most likely using professional products, which are of a much higher quality than cheaper ones. If you have a lot of trouble with your hair, it is sometimes a good idea to invest in a top-grade product, recommended by your stylist (most salons will sell you a retail version of the shampoo/conditioner used during your service).
The best advice is to speak to your stylist about your problems, as he/she is an expert and will be happy to help.

wash two to three times a week. and do not comb your hair much, may be because, your scalp generates oil, thats why it is like this, you may need to wash wiht mild shampoo.
