this guy keeps texting me whenever he is out n town to see if im out in town too to meet up. i live in a different town to him but im originally from his town and often go back there.
we have met up a few times and ive stayed back at his. i havent slept with him. we have kissed.
when we are together he compliments me etc, buys me drinks and always wants to be with me. hes doesnt talk to other girls and i always catch him looking at me.
he is sometimes really flirt in his texts too!!
why does he keep us meeting up to chance tho?i really like this guy. this "set up" has been going on for over a year now. he doesnt have a girlfriend.
he does know that i came out of a serious 6 year relationship nearly a year ago now. he knew my ex but my ex has now moved away. they were never friends.
its can be months before we meet like this!
this guy is 29.

It sounds like he really likes you but hes doing the best he can with the distance. Hes being really concerned for your feelings it seems by how you talk about him. It also sounds like you like him also. If the distance thing really bothers you maybe you should think of getting him or yourself closer together.

Tell him how you feel . Im assuming maybe he just figures since you have just got out of a 6 year relationship that you dont want a new one right now. Talk to him it could hurt. But not seeing him for months at a time might mean something too.. that he doesnt want a girlfriend. never hurts to talk things out. After a year of this you need to know where you two stand.

Take the initiative, and ask him out on a proper date, I am sure he will be over the moon, that you want to make relationship serious.
We live in the 21st century, so why do girls still wait for the man to make the first move, we have had to live with rejection for so long from women, but most women know when a man likes them, so they should jump on the situation.

Well, you never told us how old you are......But I would say, tell the guy that you like him and that you would like to spend more time with him. Instead of leaving it up to him to ask you if you are in town, text him and tell him you are and tell him you wanna meet with him. Girl, you have every right to initiate this relationship if you choose!! GOOD LUCK

this guy really likes you, but is scared of rejection. if he's out. he may have some dutch courage with alcohol. tell him staright you want to meet up. mibe you should text him the next time your out.
