I'd have the battery checked or buy a new one. You need to either rule out, or determine that the battery is the cause of your problem. (I don't think the battery should go bad after only 3 months!) Is the recharger working properly? My Canon recharger has blinking lights to tell me the battery is fully charged.

If the camera still won't work with a fully charged battery, I think I'd check the warranty to see how long the camera is covered.

The battery may be dead depending on how much you use it. I would suggest taking it to a Radio Shack and asking them. also look in your camera's troubleshooting in the manual. You may have to buy a new battery or there could be a problem with the power from the battery getting to the camera. Don't worry, as this is probably not the case.

Hope this helps.
