You can't.

If your XP CD was legal (and not an OEM version) and you have the COA, call M$ for a replacement.

You can't. You must have the installation discs. Others have mentioned that you can try cloning or imaging the drive, but you'll run into problems unless you have the exact same hardware in the new system as the old. I've used imaging software in the past on systems that were exactly the same, only the cards were in different slots, and that alone caused system instability.

Sorry, but you'll need to get a new copy of the XP CD. It's that or try Linux.

Short answer is cant.
Long answer is caaaaaaaaant.

But if you have a copy of ghost or a similar disk imaging product you can move the image but you may then have issues with the components inside unless they are identical, where you will get registry errors and such like. Technically you are still on dodgy ground as XP is licences to the PC not the user and therefore , in theroy, your new PC would be unlicensed.

I think you cant transfer windows xp to a new system. windows xp should be installed by the windows xp cd only into a new system.

Go for cloning of Hard Disc which, your vendor will be able to do.
