After having a baby, your hair goes through a natural shedding phase; so the hair loss is normal. This shedding is not related to breastfeeding.
While pregnant, your hair sheds very little due to the hormone change and extra vitamins. That's why your hair looks so good while pregnant. The first 6 months or so after you have the baby, your hair begins to shed and eventually you will start to see new growth along your hairline.
Hang in there. It's a rough period, but your hair will be fine.
