Some consider that side effects are often under-estimated by pharmaceutical companies. Anti depressants do often cause nausea which is more obvious when you first start taking them. Vomiting is also a possibility. For a lot of people the nausea will subside or go away completely although other people may experience nausea for the duration of taking the tablets. Doctors can prescribe medication to relieve the nausea.

Yes, that is a common side effect of beginning any SSRI. The nausea/lack of appetite tends to last about a week, with a gradual improvement each day. Usually all "just starting" side effects are gone by the end of the 2nd or 3rd week (appetite changes, sleep pattern changes, etc.)

one week and you will feel somewhat better as in less nauseathed that is a ball park figure . not all side effects will be gone by then that is more a one month thing then by two months the dose may well have been altered and you will notice some of the same things again only to a lesser extent. stick with it if its at all posible. try some ginger or gingerale as ginger calms a tummy down very well.

I took it once for a few weeks, the nausea persisted. Dr said it could last up to a week after I stopped taking it. Which it did.

For me it was a week. I found that if I took it before bed I could cope with the nausea and it didn't stop me sleeping. If I took it in the morning it made me too sick to function well

About 3 to 4 days is what it lasted with me. Now it is no problem

only lasted for 24 hours..........
but long term side effect...lack of any energy
