I live near Hamburg, Germany....
@wattie: I had been to Scotland a few years ago - and I loved it...beautiful. But, people over there are very hard to understand! ;-)

I live in Venezuela, which used to be a paradise to live in. Great climate all year round, many natural resources, nice people, gorgeous women, kilometers of beaches in front of the Caribbean sea and many business opportunities. But since we have a leftist dictator trying to imitate Fidel Castro, I decided to leave. I chose Australia (on the other side of the world from us) and I'm very happy with my decision. My kids love it, the climate's also great and the quality of life is one of the highest in the world. No regrets about that decision.

I'm from Sydney, Australia. I wish i was living in Europe, so
i could travel all the time. Living in Paris would be great, but i'd be out in a new European country every weekend !

I'm from England and if I could live anywhere in the world I would still live in the U.K. but I would live somewhere remote like the highlands of scotland.

This is a nice question.... I live in India.
I would like to live in the USA for the money, in UK for the history, in China for their sincerity, in Japan for their hard work, in Russia for the corruption, in Italy to be part of the mafia & in Greenland just to be lost.
All these are available in plenty in India. So i guess i would stay where i am, in India.

I am from the U.S., and I would choose to live in England on the countryside because I love the landscapes, accents and people.
