Barcelona...because of the architecture; The place was just buzzing with folk, fun, sun and almond blossoms, so very beautiful. Oh and the Nuns in their habits driving like mad things along that huge thoroughfare in the Centre of the City.
Wonderful place.
Though I love Glasgow too another dimension of the word beauty.

San Francisco - it wasn't 1976 (Hotzone49), but was just as good in 1994. Could imagine it in 1976, with it's hippy aura still intact (if only for tourists), and the rise of the gay movement, Harvey Milk, and all that. By 1994, it was still a fair sign that California represented a far different America, than the East Coast. Second choice would be Paris - but some of the inhabitants are hard work - and I've found out the politest are the North African/Muslim-French. Honest!

Spain is beautiful and when I first saw it as a young girl, I instantly fell in love. The sculpting, the feeling like you've entered a whole new world, the climate, and even the language! I often wish I could live in Spain, but I have a job and I only speak a little Spanish. On one visit, I met my current fiancee, Joshua. We were in the same tour group and ended up falling for each other. He lives in New York as well and loves Spain, just not AS MUCH as I do. This not only shows that Spain is beautiful, it is the country of love as well...

Prague is wondeful, as are cities in the UK - Bath, Edinburgh, London.
However, the most beautiful city in the world is Rome. Hanging out at the Spanish steps, throwing coins in the Trevi fountain, feeling in awe at the brutality yet magnificance of the Collusseum and of course the sheer wonderment of the Sistene Chapel makes this city very powerful in the beauty stakes!

I think Hong Kong, not during the day, but at night it comes alive. A trip the Peak, and look across the vista of the huge buildings, lit up ... fantastic! Especially around Christmas Time and Chinese New Year, when the buildings are decorated to high specifications, a trip across the mainland on the Star Ferry and look back across, awesome! The most stunning sunset I have ever seen there one night too... more to do with the pollution I fear, but stunning!

I have traveled allot, not to Europe like everybody else, but I have been around the states and south America, Brazil mostly.
there is no one place I feel that is the most beautiful. I definitely remember the feeling of goosebumps when I think of some of the gorgeous places I had been.
this is a wonderful question, but I am not old enough to pin point just one place. Can you remember to ask me on my death bed. that's 71 years from now.

Havana in Cuba is hauntingly beaitufu, the buldings are run down with bright paint peeling off them but the style is amazing
The most beautiful city I've been to though is Barcelona, it has a beach,!! the most amazing views and fantastic gaudi inspired buildings and so much more (but i can't be bothered to write it)
although cairo is beautiful in a deserty type way

For me it's Vancouver. Vibrant modern city areas but also a great old town. Lovely harbour with views of mountains and Stanley Park on the outskirts is absolutely amazing.

A difficult question. Ive seen quite a few major citys and whilst I must admit Paris IS a romantic city London does it for me everytime. So much culture, vibrant and while I agree, not the most beautiful, it has a charm all of its own,and at any time of the year
I guess though Im probably biased. I was born and bred there

Nurnberg. Apart from the spectacular main square rebuilt after the war it is a town like Edinburgh with lots of nooks and crannies, oh and water; the sort of place that would make a wonderful background for a love affair. Also it still feels quite small and intimate.
