God is not only the master of all the souls, He also is the master of all the matter.
So He decides how the mechanism to keep the universe going, will work.
Better than a Biblical answer, I guess!

There is no biblical answer for this. Believe it or not, God doesn't explain everything to us. *lol*
This is like the question I saw earlier "why can't we see God?" ...
If you knew all the answers, then it wouldn't be FAITH, it would be fact, and then you would not have the ability to choose.
There are so many questions that as a Christian I do not have the answers to, but some day, I will. And until then, I'm just going to be satisfied with the fact that there is a reason we only use 10% of our brains, and there is a reason that none of us know EVERYTHING.

First, I don't believe that the Bible is so perfect and complete, that all knowledge is included. As inspired as they were, the Bible was written by MEN, and no man is perfect, except Jesus, and to my knowledge, He didn't write anything.
Second, I believe that, even tho it's not mentioned anywhere, including the Bible, there is life on other planets. Like Ellie's father said (in the movie "CONTACT") "If it is just us, it seems like an awful waste of space".

Your question was not explained on the bible. It is understood that God created other planets which have no human life at presnet time for some other purposes unknown to human beings which God does not want to reveal.

To show us that Earth is the pearl of his Creation. Earth is the pearl of great price that the person sold all of his possessions to get the money to purchase. It shows that we are God's chief interest and we should be thankful every day that God loves us so much that he made none others like us.

The other planets are for ressources when we have reached that technological level that we can conquer space. Ressources on earth are limited and so other planets exist for us to go and live thereand/or get ressources.
