I am in relationship for 16 months already... In our first year together I thought everything is just fine, until my boyfriend had an affair with another girl (caught in the act).. and from then on everything shattered into pieces... yes we broke up but eventually we are back together again, for he showed me his regret and confess that he has been unfaithful...
but now, i don't have trust on him.. I do believe he loves me.. I know he regret everything he have done wrong, I know he wants to restore everthing that was lost...
but i can't easily trust him anymore...
I don't know what else to do...

Once a guy cheats on you...that's it...they're weak and they're more than likely to do it again. You can't restore the trust in a relationship when something like that happens...you just need to move on and find somebody new.

Let him go. It is hard, but eventually he will cheat again and again. You have no reason to ever trust him ever again. Go your own way and find someone that will be faithful.

That mistrust will always be there unfortunately! but you do have to try to make an effort if this is to work for you:)

perhaps you should show him what it feels like, by having an affair...
once all side know the others point of view, the healing can begin...
