Gospel means: "Good News." The Gospel is the Good News of Jesus coming to live among us. The Gospels help me to live my daily life in a way that I can hopefully be "Good News" to others.

The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ.
God sent His only son Jesus Christ into the world as human flesh, in order to take the punishment which we deserved for our wrong doing. We have all fallen short of God's standards, we were born with a sinful nature.
Our sins separated us from God, and so there was no way that we could be reconciled to God, for whom we were made, until Jesus Christ died for our sin, and give the world hope.
We read in the Old Testament that people would sacrifice animals etc., before Jesus came into the world to redeem them from their sins, but Jesus Christ is the One sacrifice for all, but we each need to respond.
If someone took a death penalty for someone else, we would think it heroic. Yet Jesus Christ took much more than the death penalty when He died on the cross. He took our shame, our sorrows, and made them His very own.
We can respond by believing the gospel, feeling a deep repentance for our wrong doing, and asking Jesus to forgive us. He promises He will, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We then need to put Jesus Christ in the driving seat of our lives, instead of us wanting our own desires, we live to please Jesus.
When a person is obedient to Jesus Christ, that person will show the character of Him in their life. To become more like Him - showing kindness, patience, perseverance, love, self-control. All those characteristics which will prove to others' that we have changed, and that we are different to the rest of the world.

Gospel means -Good News about our saviour Jesus Christ, who came on our sinful earth to save us.
a word of Anglo-Saxon origin, and meaning "God's spell", i.e.,
word of God, or rather, according to others, "good spell", i.e.,
good news. It is the rendering of the Greek _evangelion_, i.e.,
"good message." It denotes (1) "the welcome intelligence of
salvation to man as preached by our Lord and his followers. (2.)
It was afterwards transitively applied to each of the four
histories of our Lord's life, published by those who are
therefore called 'Evangelists', writers of the history of the
gospel (the evangelion). (3.) The term is often used to express
collectively the gospel doctrines; and 'preaching the gospel' is
often used to include not only the proclaiming of the good
tidings, but the teaching men how to avail themselves of the
offer of salvation, the declaring of all the truths, precepts,
promises, and threatenings of Christianity." It is termed "the
gospel of the grace of God" (Acts 20:24), "the gospel of the
kingdom" (Matt. 4:23), "the gospel of Christ" (Rom. 1:16), "the
gospel of peace (Eph. 6:15), "the glorious gospel," "the
everlasting gospel," "the gospel of salvation" (Eph. 1:13).

Dear Friend,
The gospel means 'Good News' This good news is that all who have faith in Jesus have the prospect of everlasting life.
I try to apply it to every aspect of my life, but being inherently sinful, sometimes i make mistakes. But fortunately God forgives all who ask him in his sons name.
God Bless

In a nutshell, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is his death, burial and resurrection. It is the atoning grace of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. It is the Son of God paying the blood price for out original sin, so that we do not have to do so. there can be no remission of sin without the shedding of innocent blood. Jesus is as innocent as they come. It is the promise of God that all those who believe in the atoning grace of Jesus shall have an inheritance in the kingdom of heaven and shall enjoy life eternal. Salvation is by faith alone. Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; he that believeth not shall be damned." The baptism that Jesus speaks of is the baptism of the Holy Ghost, for it is the Holy Spirit that convicts us of our sins and leads us to Christ for salvation. It's really quite simple---there is nothing complicated about Jesus. Anybody can be saved at anytime and anywhere. The Bible says that he who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. the name of the Lord is Jesus Christ. Call on him now and be saved, for you know not the hour of your death, and once you die it is too late.

The gospel is a religious word to describe literature for the purpose of converting (recruitment), to be closer to God (to enhance a delusion), to teach others about their sinful ways (to be intolerant and self righteous), and to praise God (to talk or sing to yourself and/or others for the purpose of trying to make an invisible person like you more). It applies to me only when people use it against me for their own self righteous reasons.

We are dead in sin with no hope of life. In His mercy God takes some and rescues them by sending His Son to save them and give them new life. And so now that I am raised up to a new life I die to my old one of sin and live to God.
My is is paid in full on the cross and I have a perfect righteousness that Jesus earned and is given to me.
