I'm not sure why you decided to choose one of the least likely disease. Pigeons are affected by a number of illnesses two that might account for this are pigeon circovirus or pigeon paramyxovirus. But even then it's hard to tell what the bird has based on symptoms since many are shared between various disease. Try looking inside the mouth for white growths which could be trichomoniasis (pigeon canker), if that's it check your other pigeons for it and either consult vet for treatment or put down the pigeon. For now I'd isolate the pigeon, and take a fecal sample to your vet for testing so they can see if there is a parasite problem first, if you can't figure out whats going on it may be necessary to have him euthanized and if you want to be on the safe side have him tested for viral infections, better that than to loose your entire flock, at the very least keep him away from the other birds in case he's contagious..

There are many diseases that a pigeon can get. It definately sounds like you need to get your bird into a Certified Avian or Exotic Animal Vet ASAP or your bird will die. It may already be too late for it, as birds will hide their illness until it's just about too late to keep from becoming prey.

If you suspect your bird is sick.... take it to a vet ...for a check up... a good Avian vet can tell if a bird has bird flu... At present there are not cases in the U.S of A.

Hi there. Take your pet to an avian vet. If there is any question about the possibility of bird flu, your vet will notify the CDC. I'm sorry for your loss.

Get it immediately to the vet and you go to a clinic to be checked. Don't wait. Be happy if it is not the bird-flu.

Pigeons are not in the bird family, they are in the dog family. Don't worry.
