Does anyone have so much kittens, like they want to give away free? I just want 1

I really want cute cat. it has to be white with another different colour - such as white and grey, white and ginger or all white.

And i t must have pink nose. Female cat preferred

NOT white and black cat.

I looked in local shelter and am sorry but they are not the one i want.

If not, how much are the kittens, and where can i buy it from, somewhere cheap?
(yes i am willing to look after it always, even if it falls il)

thanks all

Hi,

I know you've said that you've tried your local shelter, but go to http://www.catchat.org/kittens.html as kitten season begins in March/April, and if they don't have kittens in there yet, they certainly will have soon. Also, try more than one shelter! Even if it means driving around for a while.

Keep trying your local ad papers two or three times a week. Make sure you buy the paper the morning that it comes out, and make phone calls the same day. After searching rescue shelters and being told that we weren't suitable for a rescue cat (because we both work full time), we got ours through a paper.

Also, I know most people have a preference about colour, but maybe you should widen your criteria a little! Ok... a lot!! My boyfriend was dead set on a ginger cat, but when he saw our little black and white kitten, he fell in love with him! I don't understand what people have against black and white cats. Also, be careful if you get an all-white cat, as they are often associated with deafness and blindness. Not that this should matter, but unfortunately there are people out there who will give up a cat as soon as they realise something's not perfect about them. Would you be one of these people? You need to be asking yourself this question, as no cat is perfect.

You won't get a cat for free. Anyone who sells them in the paper will take money from you a) for a profit and b) because they've had to buy things for it already, and they've most likely incurred vets bills through flea treatment, etc. Do you have about £100 for the initial start-up costs? Not just vet bills (which will probably be around £50 to start with, then another £30 for neutering). Can you also afford pet insurance? If you can afford all these things, that's great. If you can't, don't buy a kitten until you can.

Just make sure you're getting a kitten for the right reasons... i.e. not just because they are 'cute'. Cats are beautiful as they get older, but they grow out of the 'cute' phase. What about when he gets old and tubby, will you still love him then?

:-) Hope this helps!

Try other shelters, do a search on the internet for shelters in your area. Also, look in newsagents windows for ads.

You will not get a kitten for free as shelters have to cover their costs and need to ensure the the person is willing to part with cash for the animal. Shelters need this money to survive and stop innocent animals being put down or cruelly treated.

Go back to the shelter, or a different one and look another time.

Please give a rescue kitty a home and don't encourage irresponsible breeding.

When my cat had kittens, i vetted the people who came to look at them and if i did not like the look of them i would not let them have one you sound like the type of person who i would refuse to let u have one at any cost. Whats with the pink nose? I think you need to appreciate they are all beautiful whatever colour they are. I have 2 black and white cats.Get some therapy.

personally I think you are focusing on the apearene of the cat to much, when my boyfriend and I were looking for a kitten we didn't have anything set in our mind asfar as apearence. we wanted a healthy kitten that needed a good home, we forund an adorable little grey tabby by looking in the news paper, we also tryed a site called www.kijiji.com and looked for one there. god luck bt i doubt you will find your exact kitten for free.

We have 8 cats. We like them for their very distinct personalities. Looks are fine but your really picky, lol. Our not so little "pride" is pretty awsome and friendly. Kind of expensive though, lol.

Have you checked your local classifieds? I know where I live, there's always ads for free kittens.
Also, what town do you live in? That might be helpful for answerers to know.
