i thought i loved this guy but later i realised it was just infatuation and i can be happy without him
i dont want to be confused again
but how to know that difference between love and infatuation

see mind / character and body / beauty are two different things and both are required for all of us. What happens is its the beauty that attracts us towards the person and later the character keeps stay with him/her therefore in the begining one is only attracted or infactuatuion takes place and only by moving closely one gets to know more in detail about the character. So when you find the true character of your liking thats all in precipitates into love otherwise infatuation. Better move with the person for more time before you start dating and that will solve your problem.
