Normal range for wisdom teeth is 18-25 but they can be anything from 14-114.
Best thing would be to go and see your dentist, at 14 it will be free.
A radiograph may be necessary to show which way they are growing under the gums.

Wisdom teeth normally grow between ages 17-24 but are sometimes grown before or afrer these ages. So yes its quite possible you have grown a wisdom tooth.
Sometimes wisdom teeth are impacted which means they are wedged in and cant come through properly and have to be taken out to avoid lots of pain and discomfort.
However if they are not impacted and you clean them and look after them there is no reason why they shoulnt last you for life. I only ever grew 3 wisdom teeth and still have all 3 at age 55. Incidentally my sister never grew any!
If you have any concerns about your wisdom teeth ask your dentist to check them.
If your mouth is sore as you teethe Rinstead pastels are hard rubbery medicated sweets which are comforting to chew on.

Hi,

R u sure there not ur 12 year molars?

If u currently only have 1 molar then thats wot they are, if u have two molars and the new tooth is the third then its a wisdom tooth, they usually come out in ur 20's but can come out anytime younger or older!

I guess I'm a late bloomer. I just all 4 of mine pulled a few months ago. It's best when you get them all in, to take them all out. If not, they tend to rot the other teeth in your mouth. Who wants that?

*Wisdom teeth are only good for bacteria.

It could be, I had mine taken out when I was 16. Although they hadn't come through yet, I had all 4 cut out because my jaw was too small for them to come through ... yuck!
Go to a dentist and have them looked at, then you'll know for sure.

It is normal for them to start coming through at your age so don't worry. see your dentist if you are concerned and they will advise you whether you need them taken out or not. I'm 34 and having one out next week. Wish me luck!
