Should I color my hair black right away or darken it first for a little while then color it black?

why not? if you truly like the style, do it. if you're trying to be cool, stand out, fit in, make a statement, etc- DON'T. there are too many fakes in this world. there are too many stereotypes. dress how you want!
ps-what a horrible thing to say (someone who answered) that black is a hideous hair color! Did you ever think of all the people with naturally dark hair, how offensive that is? It looks beautiful on many people. why make such a general statement?

no i dont think u should go emo i think u should stay urself and not label.
but seriously, if u want the look first dye it like really dark reddish-brown then dye it black.

in my opinion, NO lol.
first off Black is a hidious hair color, second it makes you look pale.
third, its a ***** to deal with.
