I'm afraid that the best help anybody could give you is a quick kick in the seat of the pants. If you don't want a white cat anymore, then, it actually means that you didn't want a white cat to begin with, that you just wanted something with SOME of the characteristics that white cats have, and now you've learned that white cats come with a whole lot more characteristics than just the ones you originally thought you'd fallen in love with.
If you're not careful, you're going to be that way with people, and with your own children, as well.. not loving them for who they are nor what they might become, but loving them for only a very small tiny part of them that might wane or completely disappear over time.. which means that you don't really love them, either.
The absolutely best help I could offer to yoru situation, is to suggest that you keep your white cat and learn to accept it for what it is, and remember this incident the next time you feel you want to begin a relationship with anything else (or anyone else).

No.
Ordinary spray paints can be toxic to breathe and can damage the skin and hair, so I wouldn't be too sure about that idea if I was kitty, but if you're serious about it, then give a bath to kitty (at your own risks;-) in squid ink, a natural black tint produced by skids (you've got to buy or fish the full skid and you get a good dollop of the product per squid , that's what's used to make a specialty Sicilian black pasta. Cook the rest of the squid in a nice soup, or quickly deep fry it, and also give some to kitty).
Alternatively, get a black cat too.

If that is how much you love and care for your cat, you both would be better off finding a caring and loving new home for your cat and buy yourself a black cat stuffy.

Yeah you can get special spray paint to use on animals. They use it in films when they have more than one animal playing the same part.
I wouldn't like to recommend it though, whats wrong with having a white cat??!!!

Do a Yahoo! search for airbrushed cats.......you will be surprised at what you see. You can have your cat look like a tiger, skunk, leopard or go for silly things such as a clown. Don't believe me..........look it up, the pics are out there.
