my tongue is going a yellowish colour on one side even though I brush and keep my mouth extrememly clean...what could be causing it??

Ask your dentist, but, do you smoke?

you brush your tongue and you dont smoke or drink coffee, how is your diet? do you eat alot of foods with curry? if the colour of the tongue is changing on the lateral part of the tongue in a straight line and a little raised it may be that you are biting your tongue or that you have a large tongue and it rubs against you teeth. Is this colour change something that has been there a long time? Is it happening on both sides? I would go see your dentist just to make sure that it is not something that may appear to be cancerous. If it is happening on both sides of the tongue that it is most likely normal and caused from the rubbing of the teeth.

Could be poor diet, after watching a nutrition programme on telly they stated that tongues that were not a healthy pink were due to this. Always good to brush your tongue after your teeth, (can buy toothbrushes with the tongue head on other side or just use a plain ol' toothbrush).

You have to make sure that you brush your tongue.
Keep checking your tongue regularly. If they are patches make sure that they don't move around.
Also, if the yellowish color becomes thicker. Go to the dentist so that way he can prescribe you a medication. But give it some time, first.

Yeah, thrush could be white or yellow or some shade inbetween. i assume pass to the rfile, and eat extra yogurt interior the destiny- the micro organism/cultures in it help to maintain the thrush from becoming.
