Have heard that the "average" expectancy is around 15
However, my Dad, who is now 95 yrs of age
had a cat by the name of "Boots" that lived (and this is documented quite extensively)---- 27 years
He lost him in an easy passing some four years ago !!!
I actually have---saved and laminated--- three seperate newspaper articles that were written about my Dad and "Boots" centering around the longevity thing
One old timer Vet in the area (North Texas) had commented
that Boots was the oldest cat that he had known of if over 50yrs of vet practice !!!
So, take the average and go figure--- they can definately live MUCH longer than that !!!!

It's a bit more complex with cats. The first few years count more than later ones (because cats reach sexual maturity much faster than us, relative to their entire life span).
Here's an article that explains how to do it:
http://cats.about.com/library/howto/htage.htm
And here's a conversion chart if you want to look it up:
http://cats.about.com/cs/healthissues/a/agechart.htm
Most indoor cats live 15-20 years (but I know of several who made it past 20), outdoor or indoor/outdoor cats live 3-4 years on average since they have a much higher percentage of deaths by accident, violence, or poisoning, and are more likely to catch disease.

Average cat lifespan is 14 years. If you assume that most humans live to 75, the average cat year is about 5.35 years. (75 divided by 14)

if you look after your cat real well and she has no underlying medical issues, I'd say 16 to 25 years. I hope your cat lives a looooong cat life.
