I have nothing against Islam,but I must point out you are wrong
they believe Jesus is just another prophet,whilst holding Mary
in the highest esteem.

The Quran does say this. It also says to honor Jews and Christians. Later in the book, it says the exact opposite.

Chrsitianity have misinterpreted message of messiah to make it greek/roman paganism, and they wanted muslims also to do the same. So that there won't be any difference between them and muslims. Why muslim refused to call god three-in-one, that is the issue.
