Start with a temp service that does long term placement, most of the time it is possible to work towards a long term placement with some security (you can keep the job for years...).

Or, you can look on Monster or Yahoo for jobs. Just look for jobs that do not require a degree.

And most physical labor jobs for the city, which pay really well, accept people who do not have a college degree.

Good luck.

Use your personality skills on interviews and you might have to start by mopping the floors, but if you keep at it, you can have a big difference in your company.

I started out small, but the people I worked for kept making me a manager of this, manager of that....etc.

Use your talents, and if managing is your talent, then it will show to your bosses, otherwise your skill will talk for itself.

My husband was in the Navy and had a hard time finding a job, but his bosses now say he is one of the best workers they have (or so he tells me, you know how guys are, yes?)

Anyways, just do your best and don't be offended if you start out in a lower income than someone else, it doesn't mean they are better than you for any reason.
