Don't do it!
Makes you feel confident but very risky! Likely you'll say or do something odd, unfunny, inappropriate. Interviewer may smell it on your breath too.
Take a few deep breaths instead, remind yourself before you go in for the interview all the great things you could offer the employer!

Don't do it before a job interview. Just man up for that.
Save it for something that really utilizes it's confidence building potential, like getting a tatoo or jumping from a plane (preferrably with a parachute).

I have degenerative rheumatoid arthritis all over and it would be easier to tell you which bones I have not broken, so yes, it increases my confidence level and don't have to appear as a handicap person right from the start. They say that it won't prevent you from getting the job---but can we really prove it?! Hell, I've had jobs to where the manager saw that we were sober and we were anticipating a busy day/night, he authorized us to "take care of business".

I think it does, you don't worry as much. I mean its not going to hurt anything unless you just drink too much and drive to your interview. I normally just have 1 shot of Jack (shot of courage) before I do something important to where I don't think about it as much and I end up doing better at it. Just make sure you cover up that smell of alcohol before your interview.

no, dont do that, if they realize you had a drink you would never get the job. Just relax and be yourself, you will be fine. Be confident and strong in your interview.

alcohol increases your stupid-ability. It "helps" to release your inhibitions. No, I would not recommend drinking prior to an interview or work. It can be a crutch that you come to depend on.A little bit of nervousness is GOOD, it keeps us human. Really, what kind of employer is gonna wanna hire a lush?!

Yes it does. Some people even call it "Liquid Courage". However, I wouldn't drink it before a job interview because it also has a tendency to make people look stupid.

Yes, but that not a good idea if you're going to a job interview.

if your new employer is a big pimp and you are planning on selling yourself but need to drink to boost your confidence so you can sleep with 45298234 men a night.
otherwise, just take some deep breaths and do yoga.
good luck
