A sunken tub is built into the floor at floor level, so you step down into it rather than stepping over the side to get into it.

A normal bathtub = bottom of tub sits on the floor.
Sunken bathtub = the tub is sunken into the floor so that
the top rim, or top edge, is on the
same level with the floor.

no a sunken bath is sunk into the floor. i dont like these. pain to take out too.

this rarely in normal house.. only in mansions and normally its a massive spa type pool almost... not really a bathtub..

but on the otherhand in China sunken toilets are popular... thats why all chinese people have good flexibility with their hamstring :P
