In Catholic school, they taught us that Jesus was fully human and fully divine. Does this mean he could have had children -- if he had wanted to? Did his sperm function?
If he had had a child, would that child have been divine too -- the grandson (or grandaughter) of God -- or just another person, since it was born of his "human" side?
This is a question about mainstream Catholic or Christian doctrine. I know there is a theory that Jesus really did have children (Da Vinci Code, etc.). That's not the point.
