Ok, usually I come on here and joke a lot, but I really want to lend my support to you. I have children and was pregnant too, so I do understand how elevated the emotional and hormonal levels can get. I feel so sad for you and your circumstances. But I will say, I think the first thing you should do is find someone you can talk to and their shoulder to cry on. You need to take good care of yourself during this time, because the way you feel will effect your baby. You need to be strong, as best as you can. The good news, is that you are safer now that your ex is in prison. This is a blessing as far as I'm concerned. And I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Cancer is a tough thing, you need to be strong for your mom and for your baby. I know you are hurting, but there's is one thing I can promise you....once you have a child- they will give you every reason to never want to leave this earth. Please find someone whom you can talk to and cry to. Cry all you want- its a very healthy way of relieving stress and pain. I really want you to make it, and I'm going to say a prayer for you to make sure you do! (And I'm not religious at all, but my thoughts are pretty strong!) Bless you.

Winston Churchill once attended a high school graduation and people form around the country goatherd to hear his wise words. After a long introduction, he finally stepped up to the podium and everyone couldn't stand the wait any longer. He simply shouted, "NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER GIVE UP!" Turned and walked away without another word.

That's all I got for you, I wish I could swoop in like super man or grant you 3 wishes (no wishing for more wishes of course.)

That really is all there is to life. Survive, live no matter what.

Sorry for your mom, her suffering will end soon. Your X going to prison is a blessing. As a women in your position you should be eligible for a great deal of things. Now is your big chance to get a property with loan forgiveness start a charity that will support you as well.

I also know you are going to be one hell of good mom.
Someone with your life experience will have no trouble preparing a child for their life.

Seek and ye shall find. Things can only get better. Use this situation to your advantage.

Be open minded and ready to sacrifice even more then you already have and success will follow.

You can do it.

No wonder you feel your head is so messed up... Not knowing how old you are your situation need a lot of adjusting. Being pregnant and early in your first trimester your hormones and emotions are running high. Please you need to find some support by a nurse, church or group in your area to help you.
Also, check for a telephone hotline (www.spanusa.org). You have to find a way to confide in a trusted person what you are going thru and hopefully gain some self-confidence. It is a tough situation but with the right tools to cope you can turn your negative into positive. Good Luck!

I deeply sympathize with you Sabrina and I will surely say special prayers for you.

Like Celia Anne said, for the moment, just hang in there and support your mum. She needs you now. I know you need someone to care about you too. Things will change. Nobody has good or bad times all the time. You'll have to wait for this bad phase to pass.

As for your ex, put him out of your thoughts as well. A guy who beats up a girl is a coward and a bully and he's simply not worth it. You'll find someone else .

Hope you have a job to be able to support yourself and your unborn one

God Bless You my dear !!

I am so sorry for you. You are having a really bad time at the moment. I am afraid the only advice I can offer is to hang in there - things will get better soon. Be there for yur mother and put on a cheerful face for her, and give her lots of love. Talk to her about the good days and help take her mind off her problems.
