Herbie exactly what happened was told to me by a friend ....when he was a small child he remembers walking to the bus stop with his mom ...she was approached by a woman who was a total stranger ...all the woman said was " you had a visitor who just left your home, go back home and throw out all the open food, I know you don't know me but I just had to tell you this." Then in 2004, this visitor (his Grandmother from Jamacia returned to the home and tied orange peels to the pipes under the kitchen sink. He was told later in life by his father that his grandmother had put a curse on the family and that is why the this stranger approach his mom when she did. Also, my friend and all his brothers and sisters have severe health issues. I am just trying to help him and as I am a white witch I might be able to reverse this curse if possible, but the chances of that are slim.

I practice Haitian vodou. I have never heard of this being done to repell a curse. I have seen it done to repell insects though. I also practice Hoodoo and I have not come across this one yet in my studies.

The only other thing I can think of is citrus fruits are used to dispell magic. There are certain restrictions when washings, kanzo, etc. are done and one is not to eat or touch any citrus foods. I have to check with Mambo on this one.

edit: What I said was correct. Citrus fruit does dispell magic. But again it is usually placed by the doors of a house and not under a sink. Under the sink could be a family practice of yours. I would check with your mom or grandmother.

For a start voodoo has rituals not spells and its not "black" its just plain voodoo. There are websites for that, just it in on a search engine, try yahoo. Voodoo as you said is neither "black" or "white" so why say "black voodoo spells"? By many, voodoo is considered a dark art, no matter how the spell is delivered, magic is neutral.
