Well, as this article shows, the study did not show the actual effects of prayer (since science, by its own limitations, cannot study the supernatural). But, while it does prove that the stress of knowing that one is being prayed for can cause complications, it does not prove that prayer causes more or less complications (as seen by the first two groups). Thus, if I believe in God that acts in the world, I would still continue to pray, though maybe I may not tell everyone I pray for ;-)

You asked a question then sent me to another site. I won't read it because you have no opinion. I'll just tell you that I don't bow or beg to any Jewish God. I did once, never again.
(I was very young.)

I am a born again Christian. There is no article that any man can write that will make me not pray. I only live by God's true words out of the Holy Bible (KJV) 1611.

Not all pray to heal...some pray for themselves for peace of mind becuz they believe in it....some pray for da sake of praying...blind faith...why do christians go church every sunday to pray? or muslims go mosque every friday to pray? Its all jus rituals followed blindly by people...

I always knew it was a sham. I haven't prayed in six years (unless you count all the premarital sex) but I also have not been sick in about six years either. oh god oh god :0
