do these centers really work. very often they r badly mantained.

It doesn't matter is they cost one million dollars a month or are paid for by medicaid.
You have to be READY to change. You have to be committed to change. You have to be in enough pain to want to get better.
If you go because you are forced by the courts or a loved one, most likely you Will use again once you leave.
It will be successful once YOU are ready!!!

You have to be willing for rehab to work and then there are a lot of relapses. AA and its 12 Step Program is probably the most successful. However, I am told by a member that even they have only a 1 in 17 success rate. Most rehab centers use the 12 Step Program. Then when released you are encouraged to go to the meetings. Most people respond more positively with support from those who have the same problem.

Rehab only works for people who want it to work, people take drugs for a reason and than the drug become a addiction, may be if they find out the Way they are taking the drug any thing can work

yes some of them really do work but it mainly up to the person you have to want help and be open and want to quick using drugs or alcholo for it to work and the rehab places are really great because it shows you theres people in all walks of life with the same problems and that youre not alone and there sre people who care its a close nit family of people who come together, its truly unique

yes they help. They help if the person wants help and is willing to change. Of course the biggest problem is when peoiple leave they go right back into the enivironment they left and their chances of recovery are dim

If the person really is committed to quitting, very willing to quit, and really wants to quit, re-hab centers may work. If they are not, nothing is going to work.

It helps temporarily, i never been there myself but i have lots of friends who's been there. And they keep on wanting it!
