Ships Serviceman to Operations Specialist ??
August 2006 for a 12 month deployment... and now it's 6 months later ?? So for SOME reason he didn't complete his 12 month tour.... so the OS Detailer is sending him on another cruise !! Sounds like he's on sea-duty, and is an OS without a complete NEC!!
Sounds like YOU need to talk to the Chaplain and or Ombudsman: regarding the hardship issue with your daughter, and the issue of his advancement exam.
I KNOW it is a tough thing to schedule students for schools... I was an instructor and the schools' Admin PO. I'm guessing you're hoping your husband can go to Dam Neck, Virginia for A-School ?
I wish you luck

His detailer obviously knows what he can and can't do. Your husand can always take his case to the Rating Assignment Officer if he doesn't like what the detailer is doing.
You're obviously all worked up about it, and perhaps justifiably so, but just what has your husband done about all this?
USNS ships are good duty.

Black is going with each little thing. AND flipflops are certainly getting right into a clean type- wearing them with formal clothing and with artwork clothing. Its a clean type thats relatively making helpful. SO lovable!! and black is sublime- it relatively is going with each little thing and provides slightly of adulthood to the shoe. id def elect black.

The Army Reservist who are activated for Iraq serve for a two year tour, but they are allowed to take 2, two week vacation/leave thingies to go see their families, if he is not allowed to do this, he needs to go see his chaplin. This is the @#$% military hon, sorry. Like I said he may need to talk to a chaplin, I would verify this with his commander, because I would not believe this from, until I got it from his commanding officer and got it explained to me, as to why they were doing it this way, at least if you has his commander explain to you why he was going to be seperated form you so long, you may be able to at least get the guy feel bad in the long run for seperating you from your husband (even if he does not show it).

That definitely sucks. All I can say is that it may be time for him to jump ship. Good luck.

honestly, the only thing I can think of is that he's needed for active deployment. or someone expects you to open your legs to make it all happen.
