1) a. Expensive in terms of the software itself
b. Expensive in terms of hardware upgrades (if you ever need to)

2) Windows Vista is the newest Windows operating system from Microsoft with hundreds new/upgraded features as compared to its predecessor Windows XP.

3) Now, if you do not want to lose out.

4) No idea, but I am sure they eventually will if they have not.

5) Depending on the edition you buy. Home Basic and Home Premium is meant for Home users while Business and Enterprise are meant for Students on school campus and Business users. Ultimate are meant for both type of users.

Windows vista is a good slick version of windows. it has lots of advantages like- the safest, windows media center, better searching, easier use, beautiful.
disadvantages- not everything is comaptible with it.
