I went to the Microsoft site and searched for "Outlook 2003".

Then I did a search for "system requirements" and it came up with the KnowledgeBase link shown below. Then I clicked on "Operating System" :-

You can run Office 2003 on the following operating systems:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or a later version
• Microsoft Windows XP or a later version
• Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or a later version
• Microsoft Windows Vista

Doesn't look like it will run on MS Windows Server 2000.

I don't know if you have used Usenet but there might be some MS staff / experts able to answer in microsoft.public.outlook.install ( or news:microsoft.public.outlook.install on MS Outlook )

There might be a (Usenet) news (sometimes listed as NNTP) server for your ISP, or visit Motzarella.org (click on the "UK" flag for English, perhaps) to create a free account

Then use their news server to retrieve a list of groups, subscribe to the m.p.outlook.install group, and get the latest postings... You can post your question (suggest you keep the subject line short - something like "Outlook 2003 on Win 2000 Server ?" )
