SenoritaFartsALot here to answer the question at hand! I think the first thing you need to consider is- do you have a lot of body fat? If you do, and you lift weights, you will be adding muscle over fat, which will work against what your goal is. If you are fairly lean, I'd say for now, keep with the weight lifting, aerobic exercise and eating healthy.
Or.......if you really want to lose weight....and quick: I heard about this Hollywood stomach virus diet goin' round, that you can catch and lose TONS of weight! It's the biggest craze out in California right now. Jump on that plane and head on out the land of fruits and nuts and you'll be shedding the pounds in no time.

There is one very simple way, which is very effective. I 'm worried, doctors might not agree with me.
Controle food. Eat as much as you can, but not FAT, avoid KFC kinda things, I'll give you a very good example.
1 apple carries 180Kcal, but to digest, Our body has to spend 380Kcal. Now tell me what did you get from an apple??
Reduce Normal food, Eat more vege,.
Breakfast: plain toasted bread with coffee(eat more bread)
Lunch: Fruits.
Dinner: Mee soup or something light.
Whenever fell hungry try to avoid food and take some coffee.
I was 98KG alarming Fat.
Within 4 Months I am 83 KG now.
To fast loosing weight is not good as well. Just be patient !! If I can do it, know You can do it.

Don't diet all at once. It can cause you permanent damage and it can make you depressed due to the dramatic change of food intake can effect you hormones. It's best to take a healthy life-style and drink tons of water. You show see a doctor to see what are some healthy and realistic changes that you can make to your life. Every person is different so an evaluation is best.

I want to clear something up. You do not burn 380 kcals from digesting an apple. You will probably burn 78 kcals the whole day from digestion. So don't go eating 5000 apples today expecting to burn calories. Now, your question is easy. Do both. Weights and aerobic exercise will benefit you the most. Good luck

Diet & aerobic exercise is essential to lose fat, walking is aerobic and low impact so it's a good place to start. Lifting weights will tone your muscles which will define your shape & you will appear to have lost even more weight. Drink lots of water. Go for it!

place a wick in your belly button.......jk.... never hurts to do as much activity as you feel up to. Good move cuz fat has poor circulation and needs more activity
than muscle to get blood rolling.most people on diets slip on the exercise,so my hats off to you already.when sitting wouldnt hurt to run a e-massager to enhance the less circed portions of the body.always keep the blood moving, and feel free to eat decent quantities of very low calorie food when on a rigorous exercise lifestyle.
