whenever someone says something that annoys me or teases me i always fight back. what are some ways to just ignore it and not always come back and fight?

I have really bad anger problems myself... or should I say had?! I have found not only self control, but inner happiness through Buddhism, yoga, and meditation.

Now I know all that might sound corny and grainy to some people, but it depends on the person and their individual anger... where it all comes from and why. If you can find you own personal perfect balance within those three things a new breathing technique alone could make a world's worth of difference to you.

Also, something that I just recently picked up was a little work book at a library book sale and its called The Anger Workbook. Its personally identifying your triggers, and set backs... its a wonderful tool to learn a lot about yourself, not just your anger!!!

It is very hard to do. Sometimes when you get older you mellow out naturally and just don't care what other people think like you did when you were younger. The best thing is to remember by getting angry your falling right into the palm of that other person's hand. You give them the satisfaction of hurting you and you also hurt yourself by going into a fit emotionally and physically. Try not to take it personally and move on. You can also go to anger management classes or get anti-anxiety meds from your doctor (for extreme cases).

the usual thing people say is to count back from 10 to 1 but i personaaly dont beleive it. some times you should fight back for your own dignity 'cos if the people who are bugging you get used to a person who does not talk back they will continue to nag and annoy you. if you really want to learn how to control your anger you should go for anger management. thats my advice. good luck

1. ignore them and get a thick skin

2.beat the crap out of some big pillows, that way you can get the anger out constructively

2 variant , go into the woods or drive your car on the free way and scream your head off,,,and go into the woods and find a thick dead branch and beat a dead loge with it , visualizing ,beating the person that hurt you,

do this until your pooped , and have channeled all the anger out of you, suppressed anger is said to give you gut problems

if you want to control the anger.

do not talk back. unless you fall down in wrong way, then you will laugh... your lover will laugh in same time
