I am about 5ft 6 and weigh a fat 61kg. I have just started eating All bran for breakfast and having water on top of that, and let me tell you it works, going to the toilet a lot. If I eat All Bran everyday and have loads of water of top of that will that help me lose those couple of kilos within a couple of weeks? At the moment All Bran seems to be working very well, but I need you advise on if this is a safe way to lose weight with running, and should I increase my kilometers. I need to be fitter first, but now I am gernerally healty.I want to continue to fun 40-50 munites a few times per week but on a weekend I want to increase it to 1 hour. Is this a good way of losing the weight? I am almost 38 and had 4 children, so my metabilism has slowed down more than likely. I used to be skinny like 51-52 kg was my normal weight. I battle anorexia in 200-2001 getting down do a deathly 43kg, and my liver started shutting down then.I am not going to travel on that path again, as I was obsessed

with my weight then, and wearing a size 6 Australian was too big(size 2 American) so any advice would be good. At the moment I am a size 10-12, but want to get back properly into a size 10(Australian) as a size 8 would be too skinny on me now that I am older.

Exercise everyday like jogging around the block
Skip meals. Eat 2 times per day than 3 times per day
Dont eat until you're full
Eat fruits at night if your hungry.
Drinks lots of water and stop all the fast food and chocolate.

It is a shame that you protest so often about how you have been mistreated in this community, and you cry out to other Christians for help.... With a lot of sound, kind advice given.
And yet ....you do not pay heed.
Leann, you are sick... as mentioned before you have had lymphoma, bowel cancer, heart problems, diabetes, bi-polar disorder... and so on. And not that you have actually had them but you post and repost as if you do.
You fool some of the people some of the time.. Bless them for believing they are helping someone who is really ill with what you claim. But shame on you for faking, and using someone elses pain and suffering to glorify yourself, and make yourself feel important.
May God have mercy on your soul.

all bran is actually pretty fatty, but it sounds like you are burning everything off anyway. water is great but don't overdo it. re: increasing kilometers, have you seen the new study about effective exercise? you burn more by doing an extreme cardio for 8 seconds, then cool down for 12, then 8 then 12 etc for 30 minutes a session. by running you are certainly building up your cardio health and there is nothing wrong with this, but there are more effective ways to lose fat. you also want to do some kind of moderate weights regime to develop your lean muscle which will burn fat, and keep up bone density which is important for all of us.
by the way, don't feel disheartened if you hover around the same weight, it sounds like you look fabulous!!!!
