I've heard by booking tee times on specific web sites you can receive discounted green fees. Does anybody know which web site offers such deals?

i work at a golf course. the way it works is golfnow pays the golf course for a couple of tee times for every day. for our course, the 11:50, 11:57, 1:35, and 2:45 times are all considered "golfnow times". customers can go on line and book these times for a small fee - usually 2 dollars or so. when you book the time, golfnow sends a fax to the golf course with the information (group name, # of players, green fee amount). we then plug it into the computer and when you arrive to check in, you hand us the printed receipt from golfnow's website for proof that you made the time, and then we check you in normally with the lowered green fees.
it's a great deal because golfnow offers very discounted green fees. i think its a great system.

Depending on where you live, there are numerous choices. Trying searching "golf tee times" and you'll find a number of sites. I have used teetimeking.com. Also try teetimewatch.com and teetimeexpress.net. Another way to get discounts is with The Golf Card, which can be used all over the world. There is a fee, but your discounts more than pay for the fee. Check out golfcard.com.
