China is a much, much bigger manufacturing base than the UK could ever be. The average wage a worker demands in the UK and Europe is much higher than a Chinese worker would get, or ask for.
The UK hasn't been a major manufacturing base for decades. We produce too little for too high a cost. Major companies produce on a scale that is beyond the capabilities of the UK alone. All companies seek to maximise profits and will therefore want to keep unit costs low while not compromising too much in quality. China can do this with ease.
The risk of a workers strike is much, much higher in the UK anyway.

China has a massive population, so in turn it's better for them to be a nation that manufactures, and this reduces the production costs because,on average a factory worker will get 60-80 pounds a month, with accomadation and 3 meals a day paid for by the factory.
Not many guys will work for that in the Uk.
People also want and need to work as there is no such thing as benafits, unlike some that wouldn't even try to find a job because they better off on the dole.

First of all they have entry into the W.T.O. Secondly stats

China has the biggest populition on the earth, about 25 % for something. So in theory 25% of the goods made in the world should come from china.

Secondly due to the huge amoults of people and the labour force and completation in china things have to be made very cheaply else chinese people would buy from other cheaper chinese componies.

No, if china went on strike the world would not grid to a halt, prices would get higher as we would then be buying from higher prices markets.

More and more products are being made in China because of how the people need jobs. People in the country move to the city just for that job. They use the money for college and to send it back too their families. I doubt all of China would go on strike they're making more money than they were before. most of the workers are content with what they're making if not overjoyed. It IS kind of shameful how America is taking advantage over China like that though...

No if China went on strike then a lot of the UK could have their jobs back.
The truth of the matter is, is that the Chinese will work for a pittance, and don't care what effect it has on other countries, nor their environments in order for their country to catch up and take over the lead in Capitalism. And Capitalism is what many dynasties in China repressed their peoples for in order to maintain Communism.

Now they have woken up and smelled the coffee we in the West are paying the price.

China has tons of factories and everything there is mass-produced very cheaply. They especially make a lot of clothing which is probably why your shirt was made there. If you want something really authentic, you should look up the team website and try to order from a specific club.

As said in other answers. China can produce goods at half the cost any British manufacturer can but at a cost to the people of China. They work for a pittance in poor health and safety conditions.

its because every nation is trying to improve relations with china for multiple reasons, many people will tell u its for cheap labor, but thats not it, its all about the back scrubbing, our govts talk to their govts and say if u scratch our back well scratch yours and so our govts send jobs, and who knows what the hell we get in return except for a loss of jobs in our own nations
