I'm currently working oversea now and will not be back till July. My ex and I want to restart our r/ship again when I'm back but he is currently attached. How do I make sure that I still stand a chance and that he wouldn't forget about me during this 4 mths?

You are sooooo sure of him, that you wonder about your chances and that he will not forget about you ???
These 2 sentences do not sound right, do they ?
I know you are looking for another advice, but stay a Lady with style !
If you have to remind somebody about yourself, that is already a bad beginning of a restart ...
You both obviously do not consider each other as b/f - g/f now and don't expect any obligations towards each other ..?
Who knows what will happen within this 4 mths ? Even on your behalf ...
You will see where you stand when the time comes ... not now.

Ok, if this guy cant wait four months without getting attached to someone else hes really not worth your time. Please ive seen too many good sweet caring people get hurt over things like this. I really wouldnt want you to get hurt pusuing a guy that already has someone else in a matter of 4 months right after he said he would restart with you after your back.

If he really wants to get back to u he will wait no matter. If he doesn't that means he is not worth. and u r living in a era of internet where distance is hardly any reason to stay apart. u will be always be in touch with him its good that u r far it will give u some more time to think it over . and just enjoy the long distance courtship

Write to him often, but not everyday. By the way, why is he trying to rekindle things with you but is still currently attached? Sounds like a trouble maker to me. Beware!

he's attached?/ there is nothing you can do to compete with the fact he has a woman to warm his bed! your letters or pics are not going to compare to a warm body. sorry but it aint going to happen. you need to move on!

if he loves u, he wouldnt forget u.
