I wonder what the day to day life is like for a priest. They must be deep thinkers. They have devoted their lives towards religion. Are any of you out there priests, or friends with priests? What is it like, do you always question your beliefs, and search for answers?

Yes they pretend like that because they can't explain trinity..

NO! First, they do not even need to think of what to give on sermons - everything they have to say comes from the vatican (unless they need to insert their own testimonies and stories). In short, everything they say inside the temple is scripted, otherwise, they will be out of their diocese.
Second, if these priest are really "deep thinkers", they should've come to realization that there is a great deal of wrongs in this faith.
However, I have known some priests who are really "deep thinkers" but, "unfortunately" - they've long gone from this faith.
Hopefully the've found the right "home".

I have several friends who are priests, and they're highly educated and intelligent. There are probably priests out there who aren't deep thinkers, but these people are. They're fascinating to talk to, and can talk about many different subjects aside from theology (one is a scientist, for instance, and another was a physician before entering the priesthood).

they may not be deep, but they definitely have to be creative to come up with so many sermons using one bible.

Not really most of their dogma is written for them and they go by that and not by personal study.
