I think it is not bad even women r better in talking so can preach better!
the reason of this kind of thinking is for many years men were on power and as the reasult changed everythink as they like not only in christianity but in most of the believes.
we all are human beings some female and some male thats all!!!! and it don,t mean some r good and some r bad .
in ancient societies(abt 3000years ago) women were holy and had a high position so it is people who make the believes and then behaive in a way they r from the god and unchangeable.
i think if u read THE DOVINCI CODE it will help u so much to find ur answer

i saw a female priest on tv earlier. They think it's bad because "women are to be silent in matters of the church". It's all about the subserviency of women which is a 2 thousand year old law. There's nothing bad about it at all.

I don't think it's bad for a woman to be a priest. I think that women should be able to become priests if they want.

For the answer you would have to ask the Anglican denominations and all those that argue against it.
But if you want to know the New Testament answer, there's no such thing as a priestly caste among Christians! All are believers in Christ and all serve the body according to their place in the Body by virtue of the gifts they have received.

I don't think it's bad at all. Evidently Paul didn't think so either. Yes, everybody loves to quote his admonition that women shouldn't teach or talk in church. However, the always fail to mention that Paul appointed a woman (Phoebe) to serve as deaconess to the people of Rome, and also praised the daughters of Philip for prophesying in public. Also, Paul himself said that there are no men and women in Christ. So there are plenty of scriptural precedents for women to serve at God's altar.

It' not "bad", it's just against the teachings of the Bible.
God created men and women "equal but different".
And quite frankly, it's only relevant if you beleive in God, follow His ways and teachings.
If you aren't a christian, then it's totally irrelevant.

Yes, and they are not suppose to be pastors or ministers either. It is in the Bible that only men are suppose to do these jobs.
